Nikolai Tolstyh cuts out silhouettes of animals and then gets nature to do the coloring-in by using different natural settings as his background. This summer we saw Fashion Illustrator Shamekh Al-Bluwi, use the same technique, with his cut-outs but, he was showing female silhouettes with Architectural backgrounds, this is the link to the post "
Drawings with Architectural Backgrounds". We don't want to start arguments here and we just wanted to state that, we don't know who came up with the idea first. We have shown the images as simple GIF animations to highlight just how good an artist Nature really is.
