Self taught Photo Realistic Artist Tjalf Sparnaay, paints in his large images, from everyday foods and objects, that we are in danger of taking for granted. This is an extract of how Sparnaay, defines his work, "My paintings are intended to enable the viewer to experience reality once again, to rediscover the essence of the object that has become so common".
