Self-taught Canadian Artist, Nick Sider, now working out of Brooklyn in the US, started young, developing an eye and a love for art. Growing up with dreams of becoming an artist, he then changed direction studying for a theology degree. Sider then worked for charities and churches for several years following what he thought was going to be his path. There was no ignoring it though, his old passion resurfaced and brought him back to the art world. Amongst many other styles he is refining and enjoying his realistic paintings, that as you can see, really capture the expressions of the beautiful wildlife he depicts.
