Volkswagen is most know for the Beetle model, originally designed and produced in the 1930. So popular, that Volkswagen decided to re-design it and bring out a more up to date model. The love for the original model was never replaced and there are motor clubs and people dedicated exclusively, to restoring, showing and enjoying this beautiful car, all over the world. The thing that might be less known is that, in the 1970s some people converted their cars into mini RV, using them to travel cross country as their home away from home.
