Glenn Thomson is the artists that patiently sits down and comes up with these elaborate and detailed geometric shapes, based on a mandala pattern drawing. I really like how every design is different and all of the shapes within the drawing, work together to form these beautiful finished art pieces. Mandala (means circle) therefore it's not surprising that it's a circular figure, it represents the universe, in Hindu and Buddhist symbolism. They are traditionally designed with and in sand, some times using different colored ones. At the end, the sand is wiped away, along with the pattern created. This is to symbolise the impermanent nature of our lives.
