Fresh depiction of animals and nature, as they come together in wonderful journal illustrations.

As well as the imagery, there is a portion of writing in the form of descriptions and information of that particular drawing/painting.

The set opens, in this post, with the weasel.  It looks like it's posing for a photo to showcase better this lovely piece.  Around it, scenery of its habitat and a little more information about it.

My next pick is the pika.  I had never heard of one and the name is just as sweet as its cute look.  As explained in the journal, the animal is carrying plants to dry for its reserves during the winter.

Picture 6 is a mixture of imagery depicting Autumn and the characteristics that are associated with it.  All of the different activities are beautifully arranged on the page and the change of the season is explained through them.
