Fantasy Portrait Drawings and Paintings

Fantasy and fantastic scenes depicted using pencil and watercolour paints.

Amandine Comte drew and painted all of the art on this page.

Some of the drawings are inspired by famous stories like:  Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland and The Little Prince.

Animals are involved and architecture is also included.

The first image is a powerful one.  It's a wonderfully contrasting image that shows the power of nature and the sea.  It's raising the seas that are smashing into the lighthouse.  You can see choppy waters all around and the intensity of the scene.

By contrast, you have the person's profile.  The eyes are closed and the look is one of calm serenity.  A way of relaxing in chaos.  This is something that is very difficult to master in real life.  It is a fantastic skill, if you can attain it.

There are many other drawings to look at and appreciate with multiple details, like the ones I mentioned above.
