Horror movies have indoctrinated us into thinking that anything bad waits for night to come out.  Every turn in the road, every shadow out there is the perfect place for someone to sit in wait for us to arrive.  Once we come face-to-face with them...

Nighttime is when, mostly, silence reigns, When all of the noise of the day is absent and you are there with the peace of your own company.  That is when the truth of you comes to light.  How comfortable are you within yourself and with yourself?

I am not saying there are no threats in the night.  I am saying there are just as many in the day.

All that aside, these drawings are like looking at an actor performing.  The rest of the stage and the theatre hall are usually in darkness or have lower lighting.  The actor is the star.  He is lit up to focus your attention on what is important, what the director wants you to focus on.  These illustrations seem to work on that very same principle.

Remember my words when you look at the images and see if you find sense in them.
