A lovely collection of animal drawings in ink, coloured pens and pencils and graphite pencils.
Corsican Artist Marianne Pailloux drew all of the animals you see on this page.
A mixture of domestic and wild animals, realistic and fantasy ones. There are sweet, cuddly and fun ones. So much to like and to observe in this post.
My favourite drawing is a bit of a surprise from me. It's not an animal I would usually gravitate towards. I would prioritise others first. And yet, here we are. I adore the fourth drawing down of the horses. They are so beautifully drawn. Their interactions and expressions make them look so much like the real being. The fact that they are in red, blue and green makes them appear even more special.
The other one I wanted to mention is the zen frog doing yoga. I like the drawing because it's a frog. Anything else just adds to the likeability for me. The form and posture are perfect and that blissful look on the face splendidly wraps the whole sketch in a neat package.
I hope you enjoy Pailloux's work as much as I have.
