Hamedelshal drew all of the faces you see on this page.
Hamedelshal starts off with a reference photo. Then, he creates a quick sketch to block out the dimensions and proportions of the various aspects of the head of the model. After that, he adds a few more details to make it more like the original picture.
Amongst all of the images, there is one of a celebrity. It's famous actor Timothee Chalamet. At the moment he stars in two successful movie franchises: Dune and Wonka.
I like how in some of the portraits, the artist leaves the construction lines. These are lines that help set up the size and proportions of the collective items that make our faces and heads.
A lovely insight into the art of portraiture. A few stepping stones to get you to the point of drawing your own portraits. Or simply the pleasure of seeing one approach as to how a pencil likeness is setup.
