The Artist that goes by the name of ArtMum has this to say: "I'm a college student working towards becoming an art teacher. Nothing makes me happier than showing other artists my artistic knowledge as well as inspiring younger generations to try art and see how important it is in the world."

Birds, fish and mammals form the real-life animal group alongside dragons.

The zentangle patterns are used to give shape and form to the animals. They follow all of the contours on their bodies, making them recognisable as the animals being depicted. Furthermore, they can take the place and form of feathers, scales and fur.

All of the beings on this page get a free upgrade to their second skin. One that seems to bring them closer together in this fantasy animal kingdom.

Fantastic creatures that can't help but impress. Look at the majestic outwards stretching wingspan of the eagle. The form of the dragon, second drawing down. Look at how the patterns follow the winding shape of its body. They twist and turn to fit on the frame of this Asian dragon.

Following these, we have the koi fish swimming in a lake of zentangle shapes. Its scales resemble those of a fish with the characteristic patterns of the form of art we are dealing with today.

The last one I am going to mention is the drawing of the lovely cat. It has a beautiful pose with its tilted head, trying to understand something about what it's looking at.
