Ink Drawings from NOIRtober 2023

In today's post, an example of a drawing competition called NOIRtober.  It's full of black and white ink drawings.

A Polish comic book artist and illustrator that goes by the name of GiP7 drew all of the art you see on this page.

NOIRtober seems to work on the same principles as Inktober.  In this case, the images have to have a Noir feel and look about them.  You get one prompt a day for each day of October.  You have to take it and draw something and give it your own interpretation.  The more out of the box your interpretation is, the more your piece will stand out amongst the rest.

I like the stark minimalist look these drawings put out.  A lot of play with light and shadows. make these pieces look very stylish and sophisticated.  Definitely a close relative to any noir movie I have ever seen.

A wonderful change of pace with this artist's work.  One that I hope you will enjoy as much as the art and the interpretation of the prompts.
