Fantastic creature drawings depicted on paper with color pencils and on the skin with tattoo ink.

Cathysuearts drew all of the images you see on this page.

In this post you will see 3 distinct categories of drawings: 1. Black and white drawings. 2. Colour pencil drawings. 3. On a couple of them as well as the drawings, a photo of that creature tattooed on a person.

I love the beings this artist creates and the colour palette choices. They really look like the kind of pigmentation a creature like this would actually have, if they existed. The eyes are one of my favourite parts of Cathysuearts's work. The depth of colour and their gradation, plus the light reflection, give the expression such a deep and meaningful look.

I love the frogs and the fact there is a counterpart in a tattoo version. Then comes the sweetness of the hedgehog. One look at it and I am sure you will see what I mean. Finally, drawing 9. The artist named it a wood elf. It has such a fantastic and different appearance. The body especially. I like how the face connects to the rest of the being and those beautiful expressive eyes. It is a wonderful collection of gorgeous detailing and such a refined colour palette.
