Oil Paintings Portraits full of Expression

Beautiful paintings by German Painter Alpay Efe.  It is the subtlety of the emotions that models are able to emote, there are no scenes with enormous smiles, crying or an outburst of exploding anger.  These are expressions that you have to pay attention to, to understand, it is almost like the models are repressing the emotion or are experiencing a mild aspect of that particular feeling of happiness, anger, disappointment, anticipation, longing, pride...

Paintings with Intensity of Expression

Russ Mills is a talented British Artist, that mixes Traditional and Digital Art, to compose his paintings.  The area he focuses on the most, is the face and the fantastic expressions he is able to paint on creations.  He doesn't seem to go for the beautifully precise and realistic look, but rather, the fine lines on the face and graphic art, for the rest.  It is an amazing technique, that gives your eyes a lot to look at, but ultimately pulls the focus, onto the face.
