Sean Edward Whelan creates these Architectural People. He now lives and works in Japan and is inspired by the rapidity with which the contemporary culture is changing there. We were really impressed with the way that he manages to retain the human form using an amalgamation of buildings and even more by the the different poses he creates for his building mannequins. Magnificent for any artist leaning how to portray and experiment with movement in their figures. The Coloured images are (acrylic and sumi ink on wood mounted paper) the Black and White are (pencil on paper).
