Over a 100 years ago in 1899 in France, it was decided to issue challenge to French artist, to depict scenes of what things might look like in the year 2000. The Artwork was originally issued on small cards and included in cigarette and cigar boxes, later published as postcards. The collection was created between 1899 and 1910 with an estimated 87 cards produced.
