Brin Levinson Portland, Oregon, US, based artist, paints these visions of a possible future in some or all the cities we inhabit. Levinson seems to provide no explanation to his work, leaving it to the viewer to imagine what might have happened. The paintings are characterised by obvious absence of humans, something has happened and this is the aftermath. These are places where time, for humans, seems to have stopped, but not for nature or the rest of the animal kingdom, who seem to be carrying on as normal, adapting to the new environment. A warning? Or a vision of things to come?
