Russian Artist Michael Zajkov is able to carve emotions and a realistic look in the dolls he creates. He uses polymer clay for the main construction, he imports the glass eyes from Germany whilst, procuring the mohair, that he uses to cover the dolls heads, from France. All the dolls have moving joints as can be seen in one of the pictures below. It is almost as if when he is carving them the dolls are staring back at him.
