In today's post we are going to feature, 2 distinct mediums, which she uses to immortalise it. The fist is her paintings on leafs, each framed leaf sells for $185.00. We have included below a description of the process written by Janette. Further down, the second part, the butterflies painted on sheet music. We have also included a video showing her painting it.

Painting on Leafs Process:
All of the Leaves are found in Northern Michigan. They are carefully selected in early autumn because they are at the thickest. I use primarily sycamore leaves, but also maple and oak.
Once the leaves are found they are cleaned in a bleach water solution to eliminate any moss and critters. Then they are pressed and dried for 30 days.
Once completely dry I apply oil based paint directly to the leaves. I usually try to sketch my designs ahead of time but I let each individual leaf lead me in the process.
