Unconnected pictures that when joined, create a wonderfully interesting and surreal picture.
We have featured American Artist Stephen McMennamy before here on DesignStack, I will put a link below. I find it fascinating how he discovers images that are seemingly unconnected, when apart, but when joined give them a completely different feel. The other aspect I like is that, you can still see the two images as distinct pictures, which differs from most photo manipulations where, leaving traces or hints that the image is made from a composite of other pictures, is a real no-no. This is a deceptively simple process that takes a lot of imagination and lateral thinking, well done.
