Architectural Practice
Jarmund/Vigsnæs AS (JVA), were given a brief by their clients, two professionals in a suburban residential area in Oslo. The space was to provide them with a space, that would allow them, the peace and quiet required to concentrate on their writing and their work. This building also had to have enough window area to enjoy the lovely surroundings. The ground floor contains seating, a chair and a glass desk, a bookcase that doubles as a staircase, that brings you to the mezzanine level which, is a resting / sleeping area. This 15 m²(161f²) writer's cottage, was built in Oslo, Norway in 2014. The Plans and the elevation at the end, can be enlarged by pressing them.
