British Artist Damien Hirst known the world over for his art and installations, he is part of the Contemporary Art Movement. This body of work, is in my opinion, the best way we can feature him here on DesignStack, for our first post showcasing his work. These cities were brought to life on canvas using the following materials: Scalpel blades, skin graft blades, razor blades, zips, stitching needles, tattoo needles, pins, fish hooks, safety pins and gloss paint on canvas. In each one of these sculptures he puts something that, although blends in, is particular to that city.
