Mathieu Latour-Duhaime is a Canadian Digital Artist, that helps create new realities with his work.  Have a look at the concept drawings he created for video game "Thief", images of a town that we get to see at night with beautiful details, some of which have a definite Steampunk feel to them.  In his work, he doesn't just create the worlds, but also the inhabitants that are going to populate it.  An amazing feeling can come about with this kind of creation, which can be achieved, with many different form of art, including writing, where you paint with words...  Create you own universes and then invite people in, to share it with you.
