Peter Slade is the artist with a magnificent attention to detail, that created these beautiful hyper realistic reproductions of real life objects.  The following is an extract from the artist's website: "I paint from photographs I take myself of cultural objects that are on the one hand quite mundane yet have often taken on iconic status due to the power of advertising and mass media." As well as admiring the quality of the paintings, younger generations might see some of the vintage machines that we have now surpassed, but like a porthole into the past, you can see how phone calls, photography and typing, was accomplished decades back.
