3D Painted Faces to Look 2D

This is the second time we have featured the photographs of Alexander Khoklov together with another amazing paint job by extremely talented Russian make-up artist Valeriya Kutsan.  This collections of Body Paints is called called “2D Or Not 2D”.  Kutsan sets out to take a 3D form like the face and make look 2D, when painting on canvas we try and do the reverse, we have a 2D canvas but use shadows and colours to make it look 3D.  Their previous collaboration (Black & White Face Photography) has been very popular on our site and I hope you like their new work as much we do.
