Photographer Zacharie Gaudrillot-Roy finds a very clever way of showing that our mind is blind to what it doesn't want to deal with, just like in his "Facades" pictures.
When we walk around our neighbourhoods we feel a sense of familiarity and comfort, that comes with the illusion that we know the area and what is going on around us. In fact all we see are the Facades of Homes, Offices, Factories, Courts of Justice, Police Stations, Government Offices etc. Given the choice would you want to know what is going on behind them?
