Jieun Park chooses her scene at night when the moon comes up and illuminates the city. She includes these architectural scene within the perimeter of the brush strokes. This makes it look like each stroke is partially uncovering part of the view, bringing to light small pieces of the entire picture. The following is a direct quote from the Artist: “What I try to express through my works are the emotions that I felt at the specific moments during the journey. I remember how I was emotionally overwhelmed and felt lonely by looking down at the city from on high.”
