Matte Paintings that one day could adorn your video game or movie.
Ukrainian Artist Pavel Proskurin is a talented self employed Illustrator, that creates matte paintings and character illustrations. A lot of his drawings are set in locations with very little light (press the images to enlarge them to get a better look, not the first one). The sites he illustrates are stark and there seems to be a lack of human life in most of them. The images seem to give out an eerie feeling of calmness and tranquillity, wondering what is going to pop-up all of a sudden (I know the terms contradict each other, but they are all those feelings rolled into one, for me).
