Out of season pumpkin drawings and carvings.
American Artist Joey Edwards (Edwards Pumpkins) has this to say about his work: "I make weird and wonderful things. Wire sculpture, hyper realistic carved pumpkin portraits, painting and more." And: "When I was a kid I would make many of my own toys out of wire, clay, and tinfoil. Anything I wanted to play with was limited only by my own imagination."
Some people like things to be placed in the right boxes. This post would be an example of it: " Halloween art should be shown in October and not in January." As far as I am concerned, art transcends holidays and special occasions. If its good I enjoy it any time of the year.
Edwards is said to have a special carving technique. He cuts into the pumpkin at various angles which when lit up, gives the light different hues and brings out that 3D look.
Amazing designs perfectly executed, where light gives the final finishing touches with differing tones.
