From the outside you wouldn't guess that, this house was constructed using 4 Shipping Containers.
Claudie Dubreuil heads a three generation renovation and construction company, with high ecological values, based in Montreal, Canada. The insulation was put on the outside between the skin of the container and the wooden cladding, maintaining the bare metal look, so that the true nature of the container could be retained. I have included an image of the plans, that don't seem to include the basement, which you can see in the pictures of the exterior of the building. As well as the shell of the building, a number of recycled and upcycled materials were used to decorate this wonderful home. I have added quite a few pictures starting from the basement and upwards, so that you have plenty to see and marvel at.
