Different subjects that are tied from a common thread.
Artist Bill Carman explains in his Bio how, even though his work appears neat and ordered, his mind does not work in the same way. He has a swirl of ever moving ideas with his focus jumping from one to the the other. Most of his paintings are acrylic, but he also produces art using, quote from Carman "graphite, ink, watercolor and whatever else I can get my hands on". As far as the medium he works, on he says "Working on wood, panel, copper, paper, or panel can take me in wildly different directions".
