Drawings that do not use the straight on, classical pose, for a portrait.
Kate Zambrano is a self taught artist that has always had a passion and a drive for creating art. As well as painting, she creates drawings, which is the subject I am going to bring to you today. In her work she used variations and combinations of the following drawing implements: charcoal, pastels, graphite, colored pencils on paper sheets. In the images below, I have included a range of her art varying in complexity, ranging from detailed drawings to wonderfully expressive sketches. As I said above the poses and expressions of the subjects, is what really bring these drawings to life, have a look and see if you agree with me.
