Sustainable and low impact structures, designed to bring us closer to nature.
Matali Crasset is an industrial designer by training, thanks to her involvement, in all of the peripheral aspects surrounding her work, she has seen collaborations with craft people, electronic musicians, furniture makers, graphic designers and interior (architecture) projects. Crasset worked on four huts in the middle of Meuse, in Lorraine, in association with the inhabitants and volunteers of the area. These metal frame habitations, are being used as experimental hotel rooms, where the occupant enjoys nature with the knowledge that the (sustainable) structure can be moved out of the area with no impact to the land. When the visitor is done exploring and enjoying their surrounds, they can retreat to a warm comfortable fire and cosy sleeping area inside the hut. A lovely break, if you need some quiet and time to recharge.
