This 1 to 1 model of the 1955 Mercedes Benz 300SL Gullwing, was sold on eBay in 2012 and went for close to €6,000 (about $7,000 today's money). Hand-carved from wood, it was listed as being on sale in the German, in the city of Duisberg. I haven't been able to find the amazing craftsman that built this beautiful car replica.
