An artist that uses color to accentuate and hairs, feathers and contours, of the wildlife she depicts.
Jen Starwalt uses her skills as an artist, to try and achieve a greater understanding, a more compassionate view, toward the animals kingdom. There is special emphasis on the the ones that are more at risk and find their name and picture, on the endangered species. She has a distinctive way of singling out these particular animals, she does this, though her choice of background, by giving them a blood-red color. Her hope is, that when viewing her large scale work, we make that connection with the animal, our environment and that it then spurs, in us, a willingness to change.

These are absolutely stunning. I particularly enjoyed viewing the wolf. All are fabulous paintings. Would love to purchase one at least.
