Stippling Flowers and a Conch Shell

Marlena Jones is the patient and talented artist, that poured her time and precision, to come up with these drawings.  Stippling, is the a style of drawing, where images are created by placing many dots.  They can run in the millions, depending on the size of the drawing.  They are usually achieved by using ink fineliner pens, the more the concentration of the dots, the darker the area, conversely, the areas with less dots will give a lighter portion in the image.  Talented artist can add texture, contrast and shadowing with this variation in concentration.  All art is labour intensive, but this one, more than most.
