Dirk Swan, describes himself as an artist enthusiast. Most of his paintings, are not the classic, static animal paintings, they mostly involve movement, or interactions with another animal. Swan is not trying to paint these forms as realistic, that said, the emotions and the character of the animals, come across just as loud as if they were. Once again proof of many different ways of creating art about the same subject and that intensity in art, can come in many different styles.
