The backgrounds, are not always realistic, they are sometimes replaced by amazing geometric patterns.
Canadian Painter Regan Johnston, has this as his main motive and inspiration for his paintings: "Exploring the wilderness, Raising awareness with art to protect wildlife and the places they call home." He took a lot of different twists and turns, during his life, both in his work and and residence, both in Canada and in Europe. It all led back to art and his love for animals and nature. Johnston gains inspiration for his paintings, by actually visiting the habitats these wild creatures live in. Fresh and original paintings, that hope to raise the stakes, for what we really stand to lose, if we don't take better care of our and their home. Enjoy the paintings and have a wonderful Sunday.
