Drawings that have many duality and contrasting points about them.
Canadian Artist Hovey Eyres, creates drawings, within drawings also referred as double exposures. When I mention the duality above, I was referring to her technique. The outline of the face is mostly in black and white, whilst the hair, that contains the second scene, is usually in color. This second scene is usually given a hyper realistic finish, whilst the facial features, have a realistic look, but more of a line drawing style. The subjects of the scenes are diverse, ranging from: nature, a train, a wolf, a city scene and fashion imagery, so much to choose from. Finally, intense and bright colors, help give this post a really uplifting feel about it, just in case it is a grey day, where you are at the moment.
