Recycled Metal Animal Sculptures

If not a way of solving the problems with our throwaway society, at least an inspirational example of thinking out of the box.  Giving value to the recycled items, most of us would discard, without a second thought.
American Self-taught Welder and Animal Sculptor Brian Mock, has a great eye for detail and proportions.  His animals have the look and size of a real creature.  One of my favourite ones, is of him lying over the bear.  The action, gives his creation, the feeling that it could almost be alive.  His collection of sculptures, is extensive and this is just a small taster, I hope you enjoy them.

    1. Such beautiful lines, when you consider how sharp and uneven the materials he works with, actually are. As you mentioned, because the materials are so different, there is a lot of variation in the detailing, of each sculpture.
I hope you have a fantastic Wednesday.
