The lands of fantasy, visiting ours, to offer a glimpse of their worlds.
American artist Laura Diehl makes her illustrations look like little portals, to far away lands.

This is just a small selection of her work and a taster of the wonderful art she creates.

Digital art assures the rich and intense colors, that make these concepts radiate with light. Giving the images a not realistic look, but one that is reassuring, a sense of comfort and safety; it evokes feelings of childhood, growing up with animated movies and enchanted stories.

The kind of feeling that goes with these images, is one of the middle of winter in a warm room, mostly lit by a roaring fire; comfortable on the sofa, covered by a warm blanket whilst sipping a hot drink. All this while enjoying a story that captivates you so much, that it feels like you are teleported to that world.  You act as a silent invisible spectator, with a front row seat, to see the story play out...
