Generations in Pencil Portraits

Pencil drawings with different poses, expressions and backgrounds, to keep your interest peaked throughout.

All I have for this portrait artist, is their social media name, which is Aduhong; nothing more than that. Here at DesignStack, we value and respect artist's choice to privacy. That said their work does plenty of talking and delivers a large amount of insight into the person behind it.

Love the drawing of the old lady; so much depth in her features that emoting is not really necessary, in order to add interest to a beautiful portrait like this.

When we are happy, sad, exited, nervous angry etc.  Our faces have a way of translating these emotions into expressions. Frown: Smiles, Grimaces and Grins, they all tell other people looking at us, what we feel about a certain subject, or situation.

When one of these expressions morphs our face, different parts contract and extend in unison, to deliver a pattern recognisable by most.  Or skin creases when we "pull these faces"; at a young ages these lines are temporary, when the expression leaves our face, so do they.  When we are older, those lines become ever deeper; to the point that at a certain age, we look like we are wearing all the expressions we have ever had during our lives.

Years of emotions coursing through our body, leave a reminder on our faces.  They represent a history of who we are an the existence we have lead.

Instant appeal, an immense amount of engagement in the portrait without the model having to make any effort whatsoever to make herself more "INTERESTING".  Just perfect as she is.
