Realistic Blue Ballpoint Pen Drawings

00-Pen-Drawings-Ben-Dunning-www-designstack-co
Roses, birds and statues, are the themes most prevalent in this post.

British Tattoo Artist Ben Dunning uses people and paper as his canvasses.  For today's post, we are going to concentrate on his Ballpoint Pen art on paper.

Beautifully smooth and soft technique, makes the tones on his drawing blend in and out of his work. Attention to detail and precision of execution, help bring out the very best out of the drawings.

Just thinking of tattoos, imagine your favourite piece of art...  When you have it tattooed, it remains with you for the rest of your life; there to look at and admire, when ever you want and wherever you are.  How many other things can you say that about...

Another Sunday and one more end of week is fast approaching.
A circle is closed structure with no start and no end.  Without a point of reference, you wouldn't know where you are on the circle or, how many times you have gone around.
When Sunday meets Monday, you get a close loop as well and if you don't have something in your life that you love, cherish and look forward to, your weeks will become a circle with no reference.

Look at the positives of this point and start making a lot of wonderful references.  See you same time tomorrow.

Ps. I gave the images some titles.

    1. I completely agree with you, it's a real skill to be able to draw at this level, with a pen.

I have never looked into it properly, but I was told that there is a whole procedure of using thinners, that gives that super smooth look.
As anybody that has ever used a ballpoint pen can tell you, even if just for writing, you get blots of ink every now and then.
If you look at these drawings, there is none of that, the finish is perfect.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your Sunday and have a great start to the week. 🌿️🌺️🌿️
