Portraits that rely on expressions to tell a story.
Russian Artist Katerina Babaeva, as you can see, is very proficient at her craft.
Her drawings incorporate realistic details, which include more than just the actual portrait. That makes the likenesses easier to place in real life situations. Those that don't have the extra details, are strong and passionate enough to be able to be cast in several roles; all in my opinion, executed by them to perfection.
Great colors and blends that project these images in our minds, almost giving them a real feeling about them. Stick around to see how they play their roles and enjoy the performance.
Ps. I gave the images some titles.

WOW! This are incredible! I thought they were photos at first, but upon closer look, they are much more vibrant than a photo. Love them!
ReplyDeleteI think that you are absolutely right. Artists can't help but add that bit of themselves in what ever they do; which makes the piece unique and a pleasure to look at.
DeleteI hope you have a great start to the week. 🌿️🌺️🌿️
