The stars in the sky are said to dictate our action, depending on when we were born.
Artist Orenda specialises in mandala drawings; creating many different types other than just the conventional ones.
For today's post I have chosen the ones concerning constellations.
A constellation is a group of stars; the shape the make is what they are famous for. There are 88 officially, 12 of the most famous and these are the signs of the zodiac.
Small disclaimer: Orenda hasn't completed all the signs yet, there are four missing. If yours in one of them, I am sorry, we will just have to wait till they are done.
I am fascinated by the characteristics attributed to people of each constellation.
As very modern equivalent (not dependant on the date of birth), it reminds me of character classes in a video game. Where you get the stats for each type, with all of their attributes, strengths and weaknesses.
You know how they say that we are all made by star dust... could our behavioural patterns actually be ruled by them?
Perfect marriage of the zodiac and mandalas, as both share connections to the universe.
