A style that adorns the page with fantasy filled illustrations, from the artist's moleskine sketchbook.
Finnish Artist Kimmo Oja describes himself as an: "Amateur drawer". He has a particular and very interesting way of seeing things.
It's good for us, that he is able to transfer those thoughts to paper and share them with us.
There are many things I like about his drawings: how he uses the whole page of his sketchbook. The way Oja uses the negative spaces to draw (look at the Bird migration drawing). The lightheartedness of his art, that really lends itself to story telling.
I will let you explore these glimpses, seedlings of stories and hope you enjoy your time on this page and Oja's work.
