Instead of having hair and clothing material textures. Austin uses details from the ancient form of art, known as mandala, to replace them.

Classics of animation movies from vintage to quite recent, get the star studded treatment. (The only exception to this description is the Harry potter movie.)

Look at how the arrangement of the shapes, is bent and moulded to follow and create the contour line, of the very thing it's replacing.
