Scribble Portraits and 1 Stippling Blend

The scribble technique, implemented with great success on the portraits contained in this post.

American artist Sarah Breen creates illustrations which are a lot deeper that the execution of a cool style of drawing.

The ballpoint pen and scribble technique become an accompaniment of the piece as a whole and not its main star. Something to add texture and interest without overshadowing the main feel and meaning of the portrait.

I gave the images some titles that reflect the situation, the feelings and expressions of the protagonists behind the illustration, as they project in my mind.

Breen manages to distil fascinating imagery, which, I am hoping will speak to you as clearly as they do to me.
