Fantasy and architecture brought together in a fantastic way.
We present to you the art of German Artist and Illustrator, Martina Arend. Her works have always fascinated me. They revolve around individual themes that I really find inspiring. She takes them all and puts them together, in her story pictures.
There is a combination of mediums below. Ink drawings, color pencil and watercolor coloring.
Illustrations that play to the softer kinder part of ourselves. A compartment sometimes neglected and forgotten about. One that brought us plenty of happiness as children. One we are told, can't withstand the strain and rigour of travel into adulthood. That is not the case. You can try it right now and see the truth in that statement...
