The following is how Artist Nadia Islam describes the inspiration for her work: "Botanical inspired art with a splash of colour infused with fine lines."
This week's posts, seem to have a lot to do with color and artistic presentations.
So much preparation goes into obtaining the perfect results, that Islam manages to achieve with her art.
The flowers are created with a fineliner, whilst the bands of color are achieved using Posca paint pens. I am guessing there is a huge amount of meticulous masking which goes into making sure the paint, does not bleed out from those perfect boundary lines.
An injection of color, which I am hoping will brighten up everybody's day. No matter how overcast it is.
